TECH GUIDE COMING SOON
The Roadeo is a three-day road stage race. With challenging courses set on stunning roads in and around Missoula, MT, the Roadeo will serve as the 2025 USA Cycling Montana State Championships for Time Trial, Road, and Criterium. The Roadeo will be run as a traditional timed-based stage race. Participants must complete the prior stage to start the next. This assures a level playing field of competition throughout the weekend. The two exceptions to this are the novice criterium clinic and associated citizens' crits (open to anyone with a novice license), and the fat-tire crit (open to anyone on a MTB with purchase of a novice or experienced license). All novice and junior registrants for the stage race are automatically registered for the criterium clinic. USAC licenses are required for all racers and may be purchased either at checkout on BikeReg or separately on USA Cycling's website.
CRIT CLINIC! We’re offering a free novice crit clinic led by pro cyclist and crit specialist Starla Teddergreen with some familiar faces from Montana's cycling scene. The clinic will kick off first thing on crit day July 13, and is included with entry to the stage race for novice and junior racers *or* with entry to the citizens'/novice criteriums. Be sure to stick around on crit day—the final showdown for our stage racers also features citizens' and fat tire crits, food trucks, and DJ Ivanoff spinning beats!

July 13, 2025
Missoula, MT
New for 2025, the Roadeo will conclude with a fast and flat criterium stage through historic Fort Missoula at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. The course is 1.2 miles long on good pavement and fully closed roads.

Held under USAC permit #10852, the Roadeo is presented by Frontiers Racing, a 501(c)(3) registered charitable organization with a mission of promoting healthy recreation through cycling and providing pathways for athletes to achieve their highest potential while growing community support for the sport across Montana.
Our team organizes this race on a volunteer basis because we love road racing and want to bolster racing opportunities and competition in Montana and the Pacific Northwest. We'll be lucky to break even on costs this year — the Roadeo is only possible due to very generous sponsors and donations and support from racers signing up.
